Sequential Interval Reliability for Discrete-Time Homogeneous Semi-Markov Repairable Systems

In this paper, a new reliability measure, named sequential interval reliability, is introduced for homogeneous semi-Markov repairable systems in discrete time. This measure the probability that system working given sequence of non-overlapping time intervals. Many measures are particular cases we propose; case function and availability function. A recurrent-type formula established calculation transient an asymptotic result determines its limiting behaviour. The results illustrated by means numerical example which illustrates possible application to real systems.
